Egita and Valdis Lauski purchased Liepupe Manor in 2005. In 2004, Liepupe Manor was included in the list of 100 most endangered European cultural monuments. The restoration of the manor began in 2007. By investing their private family funds and dedicating enormous personal effort, restoration and renovation work were carried out over seven years, and the Baroque gem—Liepupe Manor—was given a second life. In 2012, the restored Liepupe Manor House was opened to the public. In 2015, the restored White or Steward’s House was opened. The park restoration and further development of the manor are still ongoing.
