Anna Sofia von Meck (died 1757) — the sister-in-law of Baron Münchhausen’s wife and the wife of Friedrich Wilhelm von Meck, the bodyguard of King Charles XII of Sweden. After her husband’s death in 1744, Anna Sofia oversaw the construction of the Manor House at Liepupe Manor and became its first owner. She was likely also the creator and designer of the building’s interior.
