Nadezhda von Meck (1831–1894) — the wife of Karl von Meck, a representative of the Russian branch of the von Meck family, owners of Liepupe Manor. She is renowned in history as a significant moral and financial supporter of the great Russian composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky. Historical accounts suggest that Karl Otto von Meck and his wife Nadezhda visited Latvia and met with relatives at Liepupe Manor.
